By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the NyanGo mobile application ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
The App is operated by Eugeous, an independent software developer based in Vietnam ("we", "us", or "our"). NyanGo is the trade name for our AI screen translator app.
1. The Service
NyanGo provides on-device and cloud-assisted tools to recognize and translate text displayed on your screen, in photos, through speech input, and through manual entry. Features may include overlay translation, screen capture, OCR, cloud translation APIs, Offline Translate (on-device language packs via Google ML Kit), optional cosmetic items such as themes and Nyan Seals, advertisements, in-app credits, and subscription plans.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time, including features, limits, pricing, or availability in specific regions.
2. Eligibility and Acceptable Use
You must comply with all applicable laws and app store rules. You agree not to misuse the App, including by attempting to reverse engineer protected components, interfere with service operation, bypass usage limits, scrape or resell the service, or use the App to translate or distribute unlawful content.
You are responsible for how you use translated content, including respecting copyright, publisher terms, game rules, and the privacy of others.
3. Permissions
The App may request device permissions needed for core functionality, such as displaying over other apps, screen capture or media projection, notifications, camera access, photo library access, microphone access, and speech recognition. These permissions are used to provide translation features you choose to enable. Notifications may also show an optional on-device reminder, such as when a daily reward resets. You can turn all app notifications off in More. Permissions are not used for unrelated purposes described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Accounts, Device Identifiers, and Local Data
NyanGo may use local storage and device identifiers to manage rewards, usage limits, settings, and entitlement state. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device. We do not guarantee recovery of local app data if you uninstall the App or reset your device.
5. Subscriptions, Credits, and Purchases
Some features require a paid subscription or in-app purchases. Current plans include Free, Pro (NyanGo pricing shown in-app), and Premium (NyanGo pricing shown in-app). Purchases and subscriptions, when available, are processed through Google Play Billing or other authorized app store billing systems.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the end of the current billing period through your Google Play account settings.
- Pricing, taxes, and available plans may vary by region and are displayed before purchase.
- Free trial or promotional access, if offered, may convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends.
- NyanGo Credits, rewarded ads, daily gifts, Pro Trial time, themes, and Nyan Seals obtained through ads or the Credit Shop are subject to in-app rules and may change.
- Offline Translate is available with Pro, Premium, or an active Pro Trial. Language packs you download are stored on your device. Ending a subscription or trial does not automatically delete those packs; you can remove them in the App or by clearing app data.
6. Refunds
Purchases made through Google Play are handled under Google Play's billing and refund policies. You may request a refund through Google Play where eligible, typically within the time limits Google provides.
Refunds are generally not available after a subscription period has been consumed, after a free trial converts to paid access, or after premium features have been substantially used. We may review exceptional cases involving verified technical failures at our discretion.
7. Translation Accuracy and Availability
Translation results are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your context. The App is provided for convenience and should not be relied upon for legal, medical, financial, safety-critical, or official communications without independent verification.
Cloud translation features require network connectivity and may be unavailable during outages, maintenance, quota limits, or regional restrictions. Offline Translate requires downloaded language models and does not need a network connection for translation after those models are installed; first-time model download does require a network connection. On-device results may be less accurate than cloud engines, especially on stylized game or comic text.
8. Third-Party Services
The App integrates third-party services such as Google Play services, Google Mobile Ads (AdMob), Firebase (including Crashlytics and related Google services), Google ML Kit (on-device OCR and Offline Translate models delivered through Play services), cloud translation providers, and device speech technologies. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or practices.
9. Intellectual Property
The App, branding, UI, themes, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the App or its content.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR SECURE.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the App shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the App or subscriptions in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or (b) USD $10, where permitted by law.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms or misuse the service. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it and canceling active subscriptions through your app store account.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
